MAKING AN APPOINTMENT
Office hours are by appointment, Monday-Friday, excluding national holidays. Therapy appointments are scheduled within the week.
Referrals may be made by parents, guardians, physicians, attorneys, employers, or court personnel. Services, however, cannot be scheduled by anyone other than the evaluee, a youth’s parent, legal guardian, attorney, or court representative.
INSURANCE INFORMATION
Our clinical practice provides services on a fee-for-service basis. We offer out-of-network provider services to those on all other insurance plans. If your insurance plan includes out-of-network coverage, we can provide you with a therapy bill statement that you may submit to your insurance company to obtain reimbursement.
Please note, that insurance companies only reimburse for medically necessary treatment. As such, a client wishing to use insurance will need to meet criteria for a clinical diagnosis, which will become part of their medical record.
Most insurance companies do not reimburse for services not associated with the treatment of a diagnosable mental health condition. Therefore, sex therapy, couples therapy, and relationship therapy services generally are not reimbursed by insurance companies as they are not considered medically necessary.
Please check with your insurance carrier to determine if the services you seek are covered and if any authorizations are needed prior to beginning treatment.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event that you are unable to keep an appointment, you must notify the office at least 48 hours in advance. If such advance notice is not received, you will be financially responsible for the full cost of the missed session.
