About the Workshop

Based on over 40 years of research with thousands of couples, this two-day, intimate weekend workshop will give you new insights and research-based skills that can dramatically improve the intimacy and friendship in your relationship and help you manage conflict in a healthy, positive way.  This workshop is limited to seven couples and provides an opportunity for learning, reflection, and resetting.  Please note that no public disclosure is involved during the workshop. All work is done as a couple and I will be available to provide support during exercises.



Dr. Mesha Ellis is a Licensed Clinical and Forensic Psychologist. In addition to being a Certified Gottman Method Therapist and Consultant, she is an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and Sex Therapy Supervisor.  Dr. Ellis has over 20 years experience specializing in therapy with couples. She also provides court referred therapy services for children/adolescents, parents, and families.

Dr. Mesha Ellis
is the founder of The Institute for Relationship Wellness & Sexual Health with practice locations in Torrance, California; Atlanta, Georgia; and Las Vegas, Nevada. She additionally provides services to residents of Tennessee.

Workshop topics include:


Learn to recognize the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and what to do if they are attacking your marriage


Learn about the effects of physiological flooding and how it may affect conflict resolution


Create an Emotional Bank Account that you can draw upon in times of stress


Identify your relationship’s specific strengths and how to build on them together


Use the Fondness and Admiration System to renew, respect, and care for one another


Develop your problem-solving skills, including the six skills for effective conflict resolutions

The workshop includes science-based lectures, video demonstrations, role plays, as well as tools that partners will practice and utilize. The small, intimate group size provides an opportunity for Dr. Ellis to give one-on-one support to participating couples

Act fast, there is only room for 7 couples

Couples will work privately on exercises designed to increase warmth, intimacy, and address the challenges in their relationship. Dr. Ellis will be available to support couples one-on-one during exercises. There is no
group work, sharing, or public disclosure.
